Job Summary
Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology): Senior scientific leadership role focusing on virology clinical trials with oversight of study designs, protocol and statistical analysis plans, and collaboration across RWLP management, business development, and operations to develop and deliver project proposals, bids, and capabilities presentations. Responsible for scientific oversight of selected projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and customer satisfaction; development of essential documents (protocols, CRFs, SAPs, study plans, reports); coordination with project management for study start-up and ongoing management; publication activities (abstracts, podium presentations, manuscripts); staying current with epidemiologic guidelines and real-world research trends; building organizational capacity and improving processes for non-traditional site management and RWLP technology solutions; leadership in developing post-marketing safety commitments and risk management strategies; ability to develop abstracts and lead authorship in industry journals.
Required Qualifications
- SME in Virology Clinical Trials
- Requires graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; (Masters; Preferred Doctorate)
- Requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase study designs as well as relevant guidelines preferred
- Requires basic knowledge of statistical programming language(s) (e.g., SAS, R, Python)
- Excellent communication, presentation, both written and spoken
- Strong personal communication and team-oriented skills
- Demonstrated leadership and technical skills
