Job Summary
Direct and manage field operations for the major capital track maintenance programs across the Mid-Atlantic, New York, and New England Divisions. Responsible for a roughly $100M annual capital track production program, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while complying with Amtrak and FRA policies. Provide leadership to managers and the workforce to promote safe work practices and improve overall safety culture. Plan workforce and equipment requirements for safe, efficient operation of production units and integrate other construction and division projects to optimize track usage and minimize train delays. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of railroad production, track standards, and applicable regulations; proficient in PC-based tools; and skilled in project management and collaboration with unions and diverse stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or relevant experience
- Plus 11 years of relevant work experience
