Dir, Development

Director, Development leads the planning and execution of retail development and redevelopment projects across GGP’s portfolio, with accountability for financial performance, budgets, and pro formas. Manages cross-functional project teams, internal stakeholders and external consultants; secures governmental approvals; and delivers monthly executive reporting on project status, financial performance, and key milestones. Partners with leadership on anchor tenant negotiations; develops and manages project budgets and pro formas; oversees entitlement processes with municipal entities; and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget. Requires strong knowledge of retail real estate disciplines including leasing, construction, design, operations, financial analysis, and project budget management; proven ability to manage multiple large, concurrent development projects; and excellent written and verbal communication skills aimed at executive audiences. Preferred qualifications include MBA or Master’s degree and supervisory experience.
