Job Summary
The Director of Business Development, C5ISR / Mission Command Systems drives the growth of C5ISR support systems for the US Dept. of War and Tier 1 OEMs by creating new business opportunities. Key duties include overseeing segment strategy, collaborating with engineering and marketing departments to develop profitable campaigns, managing the bid process, and identifying new business opportunities. The role requires a BS in Engineering or Business, 15+ years of business development experience, and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Business or related fields
- 15+ years of experience in business development and sales
- Proven record of success in driving growth and leading teams
- Proficiency in capture management, proposal development, negotiation, and time management
- Customer focused with strong business acumen and drive for results
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearances (Active TS/SCI preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mission command systems (preferred but not mandatory)
- Comparable military service or experience in the defense sector, preferred
