Evaluate patient records and histories, then conduct independent orthoptic, strabological, and neuroophthalmological examinations for children and adults. Perform subjective and objective refraction assessments using cycloplegic skiascopy, interpret findings to establish diagnoses and treatment plans, and manage follow-up consultations with patients and caregivers. Conduct low vision evaluations to determine magnification needs and provide counseling, while documenting results and creating appropriate therapeutic interventions. Report findings to referring physicians and partners through written orthoptic and low vision reports.
