Job Summary

Operate the point-of-sale register or iPad system with accuracy and efficiency; manage account balances and reconciliation. Track inventory levels and communicate regularly with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding food product needs and stock status. Handle food products with care, maintain proper portion control, and follow all kitchen standards and food safety protocols. Stock and maintain adequate levels of food products at all line stations throughout service periods. Keep your workstation, tables, shelves, equipment, and refrigeration areas clean, organized, and sanitary at all times. Properly handle, store, and rotate food products according to established guidelines. Complete opening and closing checklists thoroughly and on schedule. Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors. Schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. Pay $15/hour. Part-time. Requires current food handler's certification. Join Trinity Valley School's dining operations team to support the Pre-K–12 community during lunch service.

Required Qualifications

  • Frequent standing throughout the shift
  • Regular reaching, bending, and stooping to access supplies and equipment
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks (e.g., scanning items, restocking, wiping surfaces)
