Job Summary
Wash and prepare various foods for cooking or serving, following established quality control, portioning, and customer service standards. Provide excellent service in a friendly, sincere, and courteous manner while ensuring proper sorting and storage of dishware, flatware, trays, utensils, or cooking equipment. Clean dishware, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards and receive and store supplies as needed. Work Mon-Thurs 1:30pm-10pm, Fri 10:30am-7pm, with SAT/SUN OFF. Schedule may fluctuate based on University-wide events and academic breaks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 years of related experience
- Ability to obtain food safety/sanitation certifications required of the position
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Knowledge of food service production and service techniques and standards
- Knowledge of food sanitation and safety standards and protocols
- Skill in time management, organization, and multi-tasking in high volume environments
- Skill in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
