Job Summary
Provide friendly, professional service to guests while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Assist with basic food preparation, stock service lines, and follow FIFO procedures for storage. Wash dishes, remove garbage, and complete opening and closing duties for assigned workstations. Operate a computerized POS system or self-service kiosks, and share customer concerns with supervisors. Comply with all safety and sanitation policies, including proper equipment care. Multiple scheduling options available for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Snow closure days may apply.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively and carry out job duties by following both verbal and written instructions
- Ability to manage time efficiently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs
- Must have neat and clean grooming and hygiene habits
- Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Exposure to high temperature kitchen equipment
- Exposure to fluctuations in temperatures (i.e.: coolers/ freezers)
- Cart may at times carry loads of up to 200 lbs
- May be required to work snow closure days that fall on scheduled shifts
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food service experience
- Food service experience, preferably in fast food or institutional environment
- Knowledge of portion control serving or willingness to be trained
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation procedures and the proper use and care of food service equipment
- Ability to accurately operate a computerized POS system and assist customers with self-service kiosks, or ability to be trained
