Job Summary
Dining Services Manager overseeing café operations, assisting with financial and client relationship management, ensuring safety, sanitation, and presentation standards, supervising staff, vendor coordination, inventory and cost controls, and contributing to budgeting and financial reporting in a hospitality/food service setting.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of food service experience
- Strong background in culinary arts
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations
- Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Communication skills both written and verbal
- Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
- ServSafe Certification is preferred
