Job Summary
Manage dining services operations by overseeing meal preparation, service, and quality control while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling, and assist with inventory management and supply ordering. Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests to provide excellent customer service. Complete a structured 16-week paid program to develop management skills in a healthcare setting. Maintain a positive attitude, communicate effectively with administration and leadership, and obtain required food safety certifications during the development period. Residency within the service area is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Residency within the service area
- Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP (where required by state regulations) certifications during the development program
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks
