Job Summary
Manage dining services operations including meal preparation, service, and quality control while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling, and assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies. Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests to provide excellent customer service, performing all duties as assigned. This structured 16-week program develops you to oversee dining services in a healthcare setting, requiring a valid driver's license and specific food service certifications. Residency within the service area is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Residency within the service area
- Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP (where required by state regulations) certifications during the development program
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks
