Job Summary
Manage a team of food service professionals while preparing quality meals for residents in a hospitality model kitchen. Conduct daily administrative reporting, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and maintain adequate financial records and cost reports. Serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt manner, addressing service concerns immediately, and inspect food storage areas for infection control and proper temperatures. Work at least two shifts per week on the line, lifting up to 50 lbs in a primarily standing position, and conduct monthly food advisory board meetings with residents. Report all accidents and incidents to the Executive Director and maintain cleanliness across all work areas.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must have knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
- Must be able to serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- This is primarily a standing position, required to stand in one place for extended periods.
- Working minimum one weekend day every work week
