Job Summary
Prepare and deliver meals to residents while adhering to diet orders, texture modifications, and menu preferences. Serve food in dining areas according to seating charts and tray tickets. Maintain kitchen environments and equipment, and participate in facility and department staff meetings. Communicate with residents and family members regarding meal service quality. Utilize the electronic timekeeping system, arrive on time, and follow dress code and facility policies. Read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or advanced level.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Employment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individuals
- Prior customer service experience
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical stamina necessary for constant activity
- HS diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior food service, hospitality, serving, or restaurant experience desired
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
