Job Summary
Prepare and deliver meals to residents while adhering to diet orders, texture modifications, and menu preferences. Perform food and beverage preparation, meal service, and kitchen/equipment sanitation in accordance with safety regulations and standards of practice. Assist with care and maintenance of the kitchen environment, communicate with residents and family members regarding meal service quality, and participate in facility staff meetings. Utilize the electronic timekeeping system, follow the facility dress code, and abide by HIPAA policies and the business code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Employment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individuals
- Prior customer service experience
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Physical stamina necessary for constant activity
- HS diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior food service, hospitality, serving, or restaurant experience desired
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
