Job Summary
Prepare and serve nutritious meals to residents in a safe, sanitary manner while complying with Public Health Regulations and Sanitation Codes. Set tables, pour beverages, clear dishes, and manage stock storage following required procedures. Maintain a clean environment through proper hand washing, routine cleaning, and safe equipment usage. Assist the Dining Services Director in executing the signature dining program, ensuring all personnel model core values like respect and ownership. Create a memorable dining experience for residents by addressing their special needs and driving a positive sales culture within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in the Food Handlers Course or equivalent
- Previous experience in the food service industry
- Ability to read and write English
- Willingness and ability to learn new tasks
- Must be available to work varied shifts and weekends
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to stand and walk short distances throughout the day
- Ability to tolerate heat from the kitchen
- Must be free of communicable diseases
