Job Summary
Oversee dining operations at a long-term care facility by supervising staff, managing daily schedules, and ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards. Maintain accurate records of inventory and costs while conducting regular inspections of food service areas to uphold cleanliness and organization. Lead training sessions on food preparation, service techniques, and safety protocols, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to enhance the dining experience. Represent the organization positively through courteous interactions with all team members and guests.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Residency within the service area
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service management or a similar role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in dining services
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation
