Job Summary
Serving meals on the dining line, checking food accuracy before kitchen release, and assisting the cook as needed. Wash pots, dishes, and silverware per procedure, clean equipment and kitchen floors, and remove trash to the dumpster. Carry pans, kettles, and food trays between workstations, stove, and refrigerator, then deliver and serve food to residents. Perform miscellaneous assignments as required. Works with elderly residents, families, and healthcare members while adhering to safety protocols and company policies. May travel within campus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be capable to execute all terms and conditions set forth in the EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK
- Works in a safety conscious manner
- Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations
- Adheres to policy on Drug Free Workplace
- Interacts in a tactful diplomatic and humanistic manner with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers
- Maintains a dependable attendance record
- Adheres to standards of cleanliness, grooming, hygiene and dress code
- Lifting 75 TO 100 pounds by self
- Exerting considerable force frequently and/or intermediate force constantly
- Reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and visual near acuity
- May travel within campus
- Considerable exposure to disagreeable conditions, including odors, infection, and illness
- Works with elderly residents, families, and other health care members
- Consent to urine drug screen
