Job Summary
Set up resident trays and dining room tables, then manage meal service including tray delivery to rooms or dining areas. Buss trays, assist in preparing, portioning, and covering foods and beverages, and maintain a clean work environment. Operate automated dish machines, scrape soiled dishes, sort clean items, and transport them to storage while assessing machinery breakdowns. Follow written and oral directions, adhere to facility policies on infection control and safety, and attend in-services as directed. Lift 35-50 pounds and work inside or outside with exposure to weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow written and oral direction
- Proper lifting techniques
- ability to read computer screens
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to lift 35 - 50 pounds
- Must be able to balance, climb, crouch, grasp, kneel, pull, push, reach, stand and stoop adequately
- Must be able to hear, smell, feel and speak adequately
- Must be able to read and write the English language
- Must be able to work inside and outside with exposure to outdoor weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
