Job Summary
Dining Service Associate – Limited Hour Temp at Davidson College Dining. Provides general support in a fast-paced dining location, preparing and serving food to order, cleaning equipment and dining areas, washing and storing dishes, handling cash payments, and contributing to food safety and sanitation. Role requires flexible availability for evenings and weekends (15-20 hours per week) and may involve varying schedules across the academic year. Training/certification requirements include Food Handler certification or certification within 30 days of employment and Allertrain lite certification within 30 days of employment. Experience in guest service and a team-focused environment is valued, with emphasis on delivering friendly, efficient service and maintaining sanitation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Food Handler certified or certification required within 30 days of employment

- Good guest service skills and excellent communication and people skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with rotating shifts
- Knowledge of safe food handling and standard sanitation practices preferred
