Job Summary
Dining Server for Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community's Residential Living Dining Services Team. Part-Time role offering after-school hours with weekend rotations. Responsibilities include delivering a friendly dining experience for residents and guests, following established safe food handling procedures, and supporting dietary functions such as setting up dining rooms, serving meals, cleaning tables, and preparing condiments, desserts, garnishes, salads, and beverages for meal service. Requires 16+ years old, availability for day/evening hours, and every-other-weekend availability; weekend differential applies. Compensation ranges from $12.50 to $14.84 per hour, plus a $0.50/hour weekend differential; located in Quarryville, PA. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older (under 18 requires working papers)
- Must be available to both day time and evening hours
- Must be available to work every other weekend rotation
- 16-24 hours per week
- Weekday hours: 4:00pm-7:30pm
- Weekend hours: Saturday 8:30am-3:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-3:00pm
- Must be passionate about serving residents and guests
- Ability to learn and execute established safe food handling procedures
- Ability to set up dining rooms, serve meals, clean tables, prepare condiments, desserts, garnishes, salads and beverages for meal service
- Demonstrates accuracy, dependability, initiative and teamwork
