Dining Server (Part-time)

Job Summary
Deliver table service to residents and guests, taking food and beverage orders with accuracy and courtesy. Maintain clean and sanitary dining areas by washing pots, clearing tables, resetting settings, and completing daily checklists. Assist with catering, room service, special events, and marketing functions while supporting cost-control efforts through waste minimization. Safely operate kitchen equipment, follow recipes and ingredient labels, and adhere to all food safety and infection control guidelines. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to address individual dining needs and promote a positive environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to communicate effectively and identify/interpret written information
- Ability to follow all infection prevention and control protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to complete a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to participate in required health assessments (such as TB testing or physical evaluations)
Desired Qualifications
- Up to two years of prior experience
- Senior living experience
- Relevant state or county licensure
- Ability to obtain licensure if required by the state in which employed
- CPR or BLS certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable
