Job Summary
Take residents' dining orders with a friendly disposition, ensuring all names, special requests, and dietary restrictions are learned and retained. Set up the dining room, verify item availability, and assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and safe food handling. Prepare beverages, snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments while ensuring all residents are accounted for and documentation is completed. Assist with special events and adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations. Participate in scheduled in-service training and complete other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- GED
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Experience working with seniors
- Ability to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell
