Job Summary
Dining Server in a community restaurant for Cogir Senior Living serves residents during meals and events with friendly, professional service. Responsibilities include greeting residents and guests, taking orders, delivering meals and beverages, accommodating dietary requirements and portion sizes, setting and resetting dining tables, maintaining cleanliness, and communicating resident feedback to the Culinary Director/kitchen staff. Must follow food safety guidelines and Cogir standards. Qualifications emphasize a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), a Food Handler Card (a plus), 6-12 months of serving/hospitality experience (a plus), experience in senior living/healthcare/hospitality desirable, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Food Handler Card preferred
- 6-12 months experience in serving/hospitality/customer service is a plus
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
