Job Summary
Assist in all dietary functions including meal setup, serving, and daily cleaning duties while adhering to sanitary regulations and established policies. Maintain attractive meal presentation using portion control procedures, clear and carry soiled dishware, wash equipment, and deliver trays to designated areas. Keep work zones clean, dry, and free of hazards while participating in department meetings and in-service training. On the job training is provided for those with a plus in food service experience.
Required Qualifications
- Medium amount physically demanding work
- Must pass a physical
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a 50-pound lift test
- Must provide fingerprints for criminal background check
- Must successfully complete a reference check
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet
- Must possess Food Handler Certification or Serve Safe Certification or obtain same within 90 days of hire
- Certification must remain current throughout employment
