Job Summary
Take residents' dining orders with a friendly disposition, ensuring you learn and retain names, special requests, and dietary restrictions. Set up the dining room, verify all service items are available, and assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and safe food handling. Prepare beverages, snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments while assisting residents with special dining requests. Ensure all residents are accounted for during meals, complete attendance documentation, and support special events. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and attend all scheduled in-service training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- GED
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Experience working with seniors
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell
- Required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs
- Must use proper body mechanics
