Job Summary
Greet residents and guests warmly, create a positive dining atmosphere, and take meal orders accurately. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring meals meet residents' dietary requirements, portion sizes, and special requests. Prepare dining rooms by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware before each service, then clear and reset tables promptly. Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and local health department regulations. Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
- A Food Handler Card, with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes, is a plus.
- At least 6-12 months of experience in a serving, hospitality, or customer service role is a plus.
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
