Job Summary
Deliver platinum-level dining and beverage service to members and guests in the casual dining room and outlets. Set up, maintain, and ensure the cleanliness of dining areas while coordinating food service between the kitchen and staff. Greet members by name, suggest menu items and beverages, and handle complaints by communicating immediately with management. Complete opening and closing duties, attend pre-service briefings, and enforce club policies and safety procedures. Maintain silverware, clear and reset tables, and report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to management. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays while adhering to all alcohol service regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age
- Capable of lifting up to twenty five (25) pounds or more
- Capable of standing and maneuvering independently and safely around work area
- Capable of standing on for a length of eight hours or more
- Ability to see and hear, or to use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that position requirements can be fully met
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Sound mental and physical health
- Ability to get along well with others
- Demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people
- Ability to inspire teamwork among banquet personnel
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of employees
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of local and state laws and the club's policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages
- Completion of required computer based courses, North Carolina Alcohol Beverage Control rules and regulations and any other department specific training

- Possess complete knowledge of the menus and salad bar prior to working the dining floor
- Ability to use club training tools to learn members' by name and greet members using surname

- Ability to professionally and quickly handle complaints from club members, guests, and visitors
