Job Summary
As a Dining Server in our senior living facility, you will provide excellent dining service to residents by taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilities include interacting courteously with residents, adhering to dietary restrictions, maintaining cleanliness of dining areas, collaborating with kitchen staff, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Qualifications required are being enrolled in high school or having a high school diploma, being at least 16 years of age, and having a genuine interest in serving seniors. Previous food service experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in High School or High School Diploma
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or customer service roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with seniors.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift trays or equipment as required.
- Flexibility in working various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
