Job Summary
Dining Server for Monarch Communities/Brandywine Senior Living: Take residents’ dining orders with a friendly, attentive disposition; ensure dining room setup and availability of items; serve meals and assist with special dining requests; help with cleaning and sanitizing areas; ensure safe food handling; assist with beverage, snack, dessert, and condiment preparation; assist with special events and attend in-service trainings; comply with Federal, State, and local regulations and community policies; require high school diploma (preferred) or GED, and at least 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or senior living; capable of handling multiple priorities and possessing strong organizational, time management, judgment, and problem-solving skills; experience working with seniors; physical capability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs; part-time position with PTO, flexible schedule, on-the-job training, and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred/GED accepted
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Experience working with seniors
- Physical ability to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs
- Intermittent physical activity including lifting and supporting residents
