Job Summary
Greet residents by name, take meal orders, answer menu questions, serve meals and beverages, and ensure the dining room remains clean and operating smoothly. Assist with special events and catered functions as needed. Maintain patient composure while interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors. Lift and carry trays of food and beverages while standing for extended periods. Work occasional weekends and holidays. Requires experience, English proficiency, and a commitment to Touchmark's values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Experience
- Commitment to Touchmark's values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, and stay on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
