Job Summary
Provide prompt, polite, and professional service to residents by setting up dining tables with utensils, glassware, and refilling condiments after each meal. Deliver daily room service orders, replenish beverage and service station items, and assist with minor preparation and sidework. Clear assigned tables, wipe down surfaces, and perform daily side cleaning duties including spot sweeping floors. Bus tables, wash dishes and flatware, and reset dining areas while ensuring appliance and kitchen stations are clean for the next shift. Resolve care coordination problems with team members and present a professional demeanor reflecting corporate service philosophy.

- Ability to provide prompt, polite, and professional service to residents
- Ability to set up dining room tables with all utensils, chinaware, eating silverware, and glassware
- Ability to refill sugars, salt, pepper, creamers, and butter dishes after each meal
- Ability to set up and deliver daily room service orders when applicable
- Ability to set up and replenish all other beverage and service station items
- Ability to assist team with minor preparation and sidework
- Ability to assist residents and other team members with beverages, salads, soup, dessert, and all other service needs
- Ability to promptly discuss and resolve potential care coordination problems with all involved team members and team leaders
- Ability to clear tables within assigned work section
- Ability to clean and wipe down tables and chairs after residents leave dining room
- Ability to perform daily side cleaning duties as scheduled and requested
- Ability to spot sweep floor in dining room after each meal
- Ability to present a professional demeanor that communicates corporate philosophy of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in the resident's unique needs
- Ability to ensure availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas
- Ability to prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations
- Ability to clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, pans, mixers, etc.
- Ability to sweep and mop floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled
- Ability to support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed
