Job Summary
Provide high-quality meal service in the dining room, accurately taking orders and relaying them to back-of-house staff. Maintain a sanitary, infection-free environment by sanitizing tables, resetting settings, and vacuuming floors after each meal. Assist with special functions, oversee bistro areas including food presentation and stock supplies, and ensure all food is served at the correct temperature. Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, and preferences while demonstrating core values of love, kindness, and respect. Participate in the Quality Assurance Committee and attend all required trainings and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA
- Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold
- Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant
