Job Summary
Provide high-quality meal service in the dining room by accurately taking orders, relaying them to back-of-house staff, and ensuring food is served hot or cold as required. Maintain a sanitary environment by sanitizing tables, resetting chairs, and vacuuming floors after each meal. Assist with special functions, oversee bistro areas including food presentation and stock supplies, and learn individual resident names, dietary needs, and preferences. Participate in the Quality Assurance Committee as directed and attend all required trainings and meetings. Full-time schedule with benefits available for those working 24+ hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA
- Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold
- Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant
