Job Summary
Provide high-quality dining service in a senior living community, including accurate order taking and relaying meal orders to back-of-house staff; ensure guests receive hot and well-presented meals, maintain a clean, sanitary environment, assist with special functions, and learn residents’ names and dietary needs while delivering exceptional resident-focused service and upholding MorningStar’s culture and core values.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstration of core values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect
- Experience: Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant preferred, but not required
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA regulations
