Job Summary
Provide high-quality meal service and facilitate a gracious dining environment for residents. Accurately communicate and relay meal orders to back-of-house staff while offering exceptional customer service during all interactions. Learn individual resident names, dietary needs, and preferences to ensure personalized care. Maintain a sanitary, infection-free environment by sanitizing tables, resetting settings, and vacuuming floors after each meal. Assist with special functions, oversee bistro areas including food presentation and stock supplies, and participate in the Quality Assurance Committee as directed. Serve hot food hot and cold food cold, knowing daily specials and preparation methods. Work full-time shifts from 11am to 7:30pm, Monday through Saturday, with Sunday availability.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of and ability to meet regulations of ADA, state, infection and control, health department, and OSHA
- Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold
- Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the dietary department of a health care facility or restaurant
