Job Summary

Organize pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, and house counts, then circulate throughout dining and kitchen areas to monitor food quality and service standards. Represent the facility with superior hospitality skills by greeting guests, visiting tables, and resolving member issues through attentive listening and problem-solving. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager on operations, act as a liaison between wait staff and the kitchen, and manage department members including supervisors, servers, and bartenders. Schedule staff, assign sections, create floor plans, and oversee daily activities such as seating, bussing, and takeout orders. Ensure facilities are clean, well-stocked, and properly maintained while assisting with inventory, training new associates, and enforcing service standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Certified Food Manager (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • One year supervisory or management experience in full-service dining preferred

  • Complete and comprehensive understanding of the physical infrastructure, food and beverage controls and financial back-office systems of a hospitality/food service environment
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage service equipment and current trends
  • Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, members, guests, clients and vendors
