Job Summary
Direct and manage all food and beverage staff for front-of-house operations, ensuring resident satisfaction through a top-notch dining experience. Provide initial and ongoing training for dining room staff, including servers and support personnel, while monitoring table assignments and seating arrangements to accommodate resident needs and preferences. Organize and oversee special dining events, holiday celebrations, and themed meals. Assist in maintaining inventory control of food, alcohol, supplies, and equipment, and order dining room supplies including linens, utensils, and tableware. Monitor all food handling procedures and service flow to ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir Senior Living standards. Cover shifts resulting from call-offs and build strong relationships with residents by addressing feedback, concerns, or special requests.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler Card/Serve Safe (or ability to obtain) with an understanding of kitchen and dining sanitation and food codes
- At least four (4) years of full-cycle food service experience in an upscale dining environment

- Two (2) years of supervisory or front-of-house/dining room management experience
- Previous experience in senior living
