Job Summary
Dining Room Manager responsible for maintaining a welcoming front-of-house environment and ensuring impeccable dining service for residents. Duties include greeting residents, engaging with them in the dining room, supervising prep and bussing, coordinating service, and communicating with supervisors about residents’ dietary needs and changes. The role emphasizes hospitality leadership, resident-focused service, and coordination of front-of-house operations. Requires at least 18 years old, English proficiency, a county food server permit, ability to stand/walk all day, and health/tuberculosis screening; benefits include 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, employee recognition, life insurance, daily pay option, and opportunities for internal advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.
- Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
- Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
- You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
- You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting people after a fall.
- You must be criminally cleared.
- Health screening by physician within required window and TB test prior to employment.
