Dining Room Dietary Aide

Job Summary
Prepare plates, service meals, and clean the resident's dining room and pantry kitchen by following a daily checklist. Restock items for meal requests, sweep and mop the dining area, and wash dishes within a timely manner. Record food temperatures for coolers and dish machines daily. Assist other employees with resident care and support the evening supervisor in the main kitchen when dining is cancelled. Adhere to sanitation, hygiene, and health standards while reading resident meal tickets and following written instructions. Requires a High School diploma, valid West Virginia Food Handler's Card, ability to lift 25-50 lbs, and work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate, or equivalence to a G.E.D.
- Valid West Virginia Food Handler's Card, specific to Ohio County
- Must be able to read and clearly understand resident's meal tickets and all written instructions
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
- Must be able to work under conditions of sudden changes in temperature when entering freezer/refrigerator areas in the main kitchen
- Must be able to lift around 25-50 lbs
