Job Summary
Dining Room Attendant responsibilities include keeping an assigned Day Restaurant area clean and sanitized, delivering Food and Beverage items to guests, clearing dirty dishes from tables, attending the beverage station, emptying bus carts, and performing side work. Requires knowledge of dining room operations, greeting and assisting guests, and a flexible schedule that includes evenings, holidays, and extended hours. Certifications include S.M.A.R.T. Card and Utah Food Handlers. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk frequently. Seasonal, temporary role at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, UT with ski perks and housing/meal discounts depending on status.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate a skill set relating to the functions of a full-service restaurant
- S.M.A.R.T. Card certification
- Utah Food Handlers certification
- Frequent walking and/or standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of dining room names, table numbers, and seat numbers (as part of service)
- Ability to deliver Food and Beverage items and attend beverage station
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
