Job Summary
Dining Room Attendant position supporting servers by delivering food and beverages, maintaining tables and service areas, coordinating between dining room and kitchen, and ensuring timely, accurate service. Responsibilities include assisting with food delivery, table maintenance, coordinating with the kitchen, clearing and resetting tables, refilling beverages, maintaining cleanliness, communicating dietary needs and special requests to kitchen and service staff, supporting during peak periods and events, restocking and polishing service items, and participating in pre-shift meetings. Requires strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not always required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- Ability to follow directions and restaurant service standards
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–50 pounds during shifts
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred
