Job Summary
Conduct closing duties by storing reusable goods, breaking down items, cleaning equipment and areas, and returning everything to proper locations. Set up and stock work areas while inspecting china, glass, and silver for cleanliness before use. Maintain daily cleanliness through clean-as-you-go procedures and complete the daily cleaning checklist. Follow safety policies, report accidents, and complete required training. Welcome guests, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and maintain professional relationships with team members. Perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds, walking on uneven surfaces, and reaching overhead or below the knees.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
