Job Summary
Dining Host at Main Event greets and seats guests, maintains communication with servers, server assistants, and managers, and upholds safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing seating and waitlists, coordinating with servers to ensure a seamless guest experience, and performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties. Requires guest-focused mindset, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; certification in Food Handlers as required. Salary range for this part-time role is $17–$18.50 per hour. Location is Deer Park, NY (US).
Required Qualifications
- Prior food and beverage experience a plus but not required
- Food Handlers Certification, as required
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
