Job Summary
DFAC Manager oversees on-site daily food service operations, ensuring sanitation, food safety, staffing, and customer service meet contract performance standards. Responsibilities include directing daily DFAC food service operations, supervising staff and shift supervisors, maintaining uninterrupted meal service during operating hours, monitoring performance and correcting deficiencies, maintaining proper documentation and reporting, and ensuring compliance with ServSafe, Tri-Service Food Code, and Army food service regulations. Requires a minimum of 2 years of large-scale food service management experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and current ServSafe certification. Strong leadership, operational oversight, and adherence to food safety standards are essential.
