Job Summary

Lead the Dining Department in an Assisted Living Community with a focus on providing an outstanding dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include meal planning, preparation and cooking, proactively ordering and tracking food items and supplies, creatively planning menus for special events, and ensuring strict compliance with all food safety regulations. Foster an upbeat, social dining atmosphere and mentor the dining team while supporting residents as needed. Requires five years of progressive dining/culinary experience and at least two years in supervisory management; a high school diploma or GED is required, with culinary, hospitality, or management degree preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of progressive Dining Service/Culinary experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in management/supervision of team members
  • H.S. Diploma or GED is required
  • Culinary, Hospitality or Management degree is preferred
  • Food Service certification is preferred
