Job Summary
This part-time role involves the pickup and delivery of food, equipment, and supplies for Dining Services, including daily food and catering deliveries. Responsibilities include proper maintenance of delivery vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of food and supplies, and maintaining inventories. Candidates must have strong organizational skills, communicate effectively, and be able to work independently. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with a ServSafe certification obtainable within 60 days of hire. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, have some driving experience, and are required to pass a criminal background check.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ServSafe certification is required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- Some college experience helpful
- Customer service experience desirable
- Experience working with adolescents in an educational setting is preferred
- Driving experience of commercial vehicles preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain ServSafe certificate within 60 days of hire
- Successfully complete a criminal background check (reviewed every 5 years)
- Clean driving record (reviewed annually)
