Job Summary
PRN Cook prepares and cooks meals according to planned menus, recipes, and dietary requirements in a resident-centered kitchen; ensures meals are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature; maintains a clean, sanitary kitchen; follows food safety, sanitation, and infection-control policies; monitors inventory and assists with receiving and storing deliveries; collaborates with dietary staff to accommodate special diets and resident requests; assists in cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment; communicates effectively with team members and residents to ensure a positive dining experience; adheres to regulatory and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Attention to detail and a passion for preparing high-quality meals.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to speak and read English.
