Job Summary
Provide timely service to meet residents' needs as part of our culinary staff in a long-term skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include handling food and equipment per sanitation policies, setting up food for tray lines and dining rooms, delivering and retrieving carts, preparing snacks and beverages, nutrition supplements and tube feeding products, washing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the work area. Must comply with confidentiality of protected health information and participate in in-service activities. Demonstrates dependability, ability to follow directions, work independently, and effective communication with residents, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to long-term care dietary requirements
- Dependability and punctuality

- Possess the ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, and visitors
