Job Summary
Lead the digitalisation and IS strategy for ABB Finland within the Grid Components business line, overseeing IS applications and infrastructure, driving automation, AI, and data initiatives to improve efficiency and throughput, and shaping a data-driven organisation with analytics governance. You will manage a high-performing IS team, ensure regulatory and group security compliance, and align local digital initiatives with ABB group standards while maintaining agility in local business needs. The role combines hands-on change leadership with business conversations, collaborating across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, sales, and support functions in a hybrid work model in Vaasa, Finland.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or bachelor degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in leading IS/IT teams and managing applications and infrastructure
- Experience in digital transformation and process optimization in industrial environments
- Strong track record in applying automation, data, and AI to business improvement
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT platforms (CQP, ERP, BI, cloud)
- Ability to communicate effectively in Finnish and English
