Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain standard templates for error handling, logging, and security across real-time REST APIs, asynchronous event-driven messages, and scheduled batch file transfers. Lead the technical roadmap for the integration ecosystem by defining resilient, scalable development patterns and establishing engineering best practices. Conduct rigorous code reviews, write production-ready code for core components, and coach a dedicated team of integration engineers. Drive adoption of standard schemas, self-service APIs, and robust documentation while building distributed tracing and automated self-healing mechanisms. Collaborate with the Architect and Product Managers to select integration patterns that support new requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field
- Knowledge of integration paradigms, enterprise service patterns, and event-driven architecture
- Designing and managing enterprise-grade API gateways, service meshes
- Ability to translate technical platform concepts into business value for stakeholders
- Empathetic approach to collaborating with other engineering teams
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and integration patterns
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot code and logic flow
- Awareness of any potential compliance risks
- Commitment to act with integrity
